 Perfect bike mount for ipod touch 3G Jul 18, 2011

I purchased this to mount my ipod touch 3G on my road bike and used it as a bike GPS. It's awesome! It held the ipod very solid. There's no vibration whatsoever. I have hit big bumps but the ipod was still secured. I had it mounted on the bike stem which is perfect position if used as GPS. This can also be mounted on the handle bar and has 8 different rotational angles to mount. This definitely works on road bike. If you would like to turn your ipod touch 3G into a road bike GPS, I highly recommend this as a bike mount because it's so inexpensive but yet very effective. I also recommend XGPS 150 Bluetooth GPS receiver by Dual Electronics.

Seems well-built, and holds the iPod firmly. Easy to install, although zip ties seem a little cheap compared to a reusable band/clamp system like used on most bike computers. The unit is somewhat bulky, and stands pretty tall on the handlebars. I would like something that had a lower profile. I will like this unit when riding the rollers this winter.
All in all, a good product.

I was looking for a way to watch TV while riding the trainer in the winter. This product was the perfect fit. It mounted easily and did what I needed. The iPod fits into it perfectly and the whole bracket is easily removable and can be repositioned easily for different viewing angles.

This really sucks. Did not even come with the proper mounting hardware. Waste of money!
